Janus Ag is proud to offer financing to boarding, training, and horse breeding operations generating at least $10,000 in yearly revenue. Our income requirements for debt service include both farm and non-farm income and can provide funding even if the horse operation is not your primary source of income. In addition, we do not require 1:1 debt service from the property.

In determining your property’s value, we include the land, residence, and equestrian facilities. Our maximum loan to value is 70%. As with our commercial farm and ranch loan, there is no pre-payment penalty, and no percentage limit on cash out. This means you can make the improvements you need to grow your operation and have the comfort of knowing that you will never be penalized for paying off your loan ahead of schedule.

Part-time farms are eligible provided they have a minimum yearly revenue of $10,000, are outside of town limits, and zoned agricultural.
